Video analysis gives me the opportunity to study the student’s swing, highlight areas for improvement and plan corrections. For filming I use a Casio Exilim Pro F1 which, thanks to its 1,200 fps, offers sharp and detailed images. For the analysis I use the V1 software, thanks to which I can compare the swing of my students with those of the best Tour players.

TRACKMAN

Trackman is a great help during my lessons. I like to always start from video analysis and then integrate the information with TrackMan data. It is very interesting to double-check the data and appreciate the changes once the case changes to the swing have been made. It is a further confirmation, for me and the student, that we are going in the right direction. Thanks to the Test Center mode I have the possibility to train the players on the distance control.

SAM PUTT LAB

The Sam Putt Lab is a very useful tool that requires great awareness on the part of the teacher. I must always keep in mind that we do not go in search of perfection but the ability to replicate a gesture in a constant manner. I use the same routine as the Trackman: I start from the video and integrate the precious data of the Sam Putt Lab.
Also in this case, once the changes have been made to the address and movement position, I check the changes in the numbers and the graphs.

KVEST

Working with Kvest is very useful both in the analysis phase and during the training phase. It provides visual feedback and a sound that accelerate learning. The Kvest gives me the opportunity to monitor progress while the student learns to feel his body during the swing. I like to say that Kvest “translates” the master’s words into sensations, much more expendable by the student.

SMART TO MOVE FORCE PLATES

When I look at a swing I always pay a great deal of attention to the supports on the ground. The Force Plates are able to measure what actually happens underfoot from the address to the finish.
